FULL VIEW PLEASE!!!

i promised more work. and i want 15 grand. so, i present you car # 1 for the skin a scion contest. lots of hardwork here. i'll post who the brushes are from (all three of them!) later. the hardest part was the city skyline. took a que from MCR and the black parade artwork using stock images gathered around the net from the san francisco earthquake in the early-mid 1900's. (the main middle tower, the only building not repeated, i believe was SanFran city hall)

i'm super in love with this right now. and not even the design of the car but the whole friggin thing. its very post-apocolyptic and grungey. even the design of the car. the car completely inspired the background. it looked good on just plain white like it was before i re designed it, but i felt it needed something more dynamic to play against, so that your eye still moves, not just ot the car, but to the wreckage of the city and back again. i really like the movement of this.

all done in photoshop cs1

by the way, its HUGE size-wise. i did the majority of it during freetime at work on our super nifty new prettyfull monitors, so it was scaled for a mac cinema screen monitor.

::Random Note:

The skyline alone was 67 layers in photoshop.

i astounded myself with that.

you're allowed as many entries as you like. they will pick one winner, but not by how many times you entered. basicaly you can do many different designs to the car as you want, enter them all and hope one of them is picked. that way you aren't limited to only entering one design that you like more than your others ideas.
